Tina Marie Kennedy, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, was called home to the Lord on December 16, 2025, in Georgetown, Texas. She was 54 years old. Born on August 18, 1971, in Belleville, Illinois, Tina grew up in Belleville and O'Fallon, Illinois. She graduated from O'Fallon Township High School in 1989, during which time she met her future husband, James Kennedy, during their junior year in 1988. Tina went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 1993 and a Master of Science from St. Mary's University in San Antonio in 1996. Tina's professional career began with the United States Air Force Civil Service at Randolph Air Force Base from 1994 to 1999. She then worked at Dell Technologies from 1999 to 2003 and Crossroads Systems from 2003 to 2014. After college graduation in 1993, Tina moved to Central Texas with James and they married in August 1994 where they built a life centered on family and community. They were blessed with two wonderful children, whom she loved more than anything. Tina was heavily involved in their schools as a dedicated classroom parent volunteer. Her passions included arts and crafts, painting, photography, travel (most especially the beach), and shopping. She brought joy to her family and friends daily with her warm spirit and unwavering love. Tina is survived by her devoted husband, James Kennedy; son, Sean Kennedy; daughter, Megan Kennedy; mother, Virginia Fernandez, and stepfather, Sam Fernandez; father, John Schuhardt; brother, John Schuhardt; and father-in-law, Fred Kennedy Jr. She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nancy Schuhardt, and mother-in-law, Claudette Kennedy. Tina's legacy of love, kindness, and enthusiasm for life will be cherished by all who knew her. Funeral service details are currently pending.
