Pets of the Week: Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter

Sonny is a sweet, gentle soul who truly loves being around people — especially kids! He has a calm, more passive personality and has peacefully coexisted with a pack of four other dogs, making him a wonderful candidate for a multi-dog home. This good boy is housebroken and already knows his basic commands.

Cheesy Potatoes is a shy guy, and future lap-adjacent companion. He’s an independent boy who blossoms with time, kindness, and a safe place to land.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6 p.m. at 1855 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown, excluding limited holidays/events. In addition to the main shelter, residents can also meet adoptable dogs at the shelter’s satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Drive in Georgetown.
