2027 County Budget: Williamson County departments ask for personnel

    Williamson County department heads are requesting more than 100 new employees be added to the county’s 2027 fiscal year budget. Which positions, if any, are filled, however, remains up in the air. Commissioners heard from 30 department leaders during a budget workshop roundtable Friday, April 10, who outlined their most pressing needs....
