Hardy Ray Hattley Jr.
Ray's life was marked by his love for family, service to his country, and commitment to helping others. Born on September 24, 1960, to Hardy Ray Hattley, Sr. and Ruby Mae Wyatt (Taylor), Ray was a proud Georgetown native who graduated from Georgetown High School and later served honorably in the United States Army.
Throughout his life, Ray was known for his generous spirit, strong work ethic, and passion for trucks and transportation. Whether through his love of 18-wheelers and dump trucks or his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need, Ray left a lasting impression on countless family members, friends, and neighbors.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Renee London and her husband, Corey London, of Georgetown, Texas; his half-sister, Sarah Smith and her husband, Adam Smith, of Houston, Texas; his brother, Rudy Lamar Hattley of Hutto, Texas; his aunt, Lenora Levi (Nan) of Houston, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
We have chosen San Gabriel Park as the location for this memorial gathering because of Ray’s love of outdoor recreation and grilling.
