Judith “Judy” Ann (Vossler) Herbstreit

Judith “Judy” Ann (Vossler) Herbstreit, 81, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord

on July 12, 2026.

Born on February 16, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Judy dedicated her life to caring for others

as a compassionate nurse, loving her family wholeheartedly and faithfully serving the

Lord. She was known for her gentle spirit, warm hospitality, thoughtful wisdom, and

genuine kindness. Judy especially enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, making

memories on beach vacations, and being a caring friend and neighbor.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Rick Herbstreit; her children, Lisa Herbstreit and

Brian (Christy) Herbstreit; her grandsons, Brett Herbstreit and Trey Herbstreit; her sister,

Donna (Skip) Garrett; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Joyce (Buop) Vossler; her sister, Barb

Hohweiler; and her brother, Don Vossler Jr.

Our family is planning two celebrations of Judy’s life.  The first will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Brian & Christy’s home in Georgetown, Texas.

Later this fall, we hope family and friends will join us in Rick and Judy’s hometown of

Cincinnati, Ohio, as we gather to celebrate Judy’s life, her legacy, and the many ways she

touched each of us. Additional details will be shared soon.

Her family rejoices in the assurance that she is at peace in the presence of her Savior and

will forever treasure the love, faith, and kindness she shared so generously.
