Stay safe, follow rules during dove hunting season

There’s limited hunting activity in the summer months, but the opening of dove hunting season — which runs September 1 to October 25, and then December 11 to January 7 — is an early sign that fall is indeed approaching.
Dove hunting season gives hunters throughout the state permission to use their guns to hunt game if they follow designated laws.
