Georgetown resident boasts friendship 71 years strong

    Friends Les Sherman and Louis Rumsey cannot remember a day they didn’t know each other. 

    For the past 71 years, the two friends have had playdates, played sports together, gone on bike rides, had and attended weddings, and caught up over lunches. They’ve even passed the same birthday card back and forth since 1968.
