Alfred (Freddie) Hollis Meyers
Alfred (Freddie) Hollis Meyers 90 of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on November 13, 2024.
Freddie was born on July 31, 1934, in San Antonio Texas, the son of Fred Casper Meyers and Elsie Dora Meyers (Mangum).
Freddie graduated from Milby High School in Houston, Texas, in 1952, and then went on to earn his Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston in 1960.
Freddie married Annabelle Kubin on August 27, 1955 at St Theresa’s Catholic Church Houston, Texas. They were married 69 years and have four children Keith Meyers, Kelly Gillespie, Mark Meyers, and Alisa Jones. Also remaining to cherish Freddie’s memory are his grandchildren Kate Meyers, Steve Meyers, Andrew Dobrinski, Bethany Meyers, Austin Meyers, Colton Meyers, Haley Limo, Kelsey Jones, and Marley Jones. Along with his Great Grandchildren Elsie Hughes, Owen Meyers, Lahar Meyers, Aiden Limo, and Bella Limo.
Freddie is also survived by his brother and best friend Ronald Keith Meyers.
Fred worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad from 1956-1995 in the Railroad Engineering Department.
Freddie loved to hunt, fish, do crosswords, work at the family ranch, and tell stories.
He was a man of integrity who loved God and his family greatly.
Though he has departed, his legacy endures - a legacy of love, laughter, kindness, and generosity. He will be missed but not forgotten by the many lives he has touched.
