Jeffrey Odell Ivey of Granger Texas passed away on March 7, 2024.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, Texas.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Dossman Funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
Jeffrey was born June 18, 1967, in Temple, Texas, to Jimmy Dell Ivey and Bobbie Jean Smith.
Jeffrey lived most of his life on the State Highway 95 corridor from Holland to Taylor, most recently living in Granger. He graduated from Holland High School in 1985. He was currently the Director of the Bell County Road and Bridge Department. He worked in road maintenance his whole career; 6 years with Bell County and 22 years with Williamson County. With his job he was a member of TACERA (Texas Association of County Engineers and Road Administrators). Taking care of his family and spending time with them was the most important thing to him. He adored his kids and grandkids and taught them so much. He enjoyed fishing, even if Lydia caught the bigger fish. He loved all things baseball, football, and NASCAR. Jeff enjoyed hunting trips, playing with grandkids, mowing, tending to his pepper plants & playing on his new tractor.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife Lydia, his daughter Stormie Ivey-Brenek, his sons; Dillon Ivey (Tomika), Frank Linden (Christine), and Bolton Linden Jr. (Sascha), his father Jimmy Dell Ivey, and thirteen grandchildren - Dawson, Tinlie, Kaden, Kyra, Colter, Paisleigh, Payton, Kash, Koltyn, Spencer, Emma, Ava and Weston.
Jeffery is preceded in death by his mother Bobbie Jean Smith and brother Jimmy Lee Ivey.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in his name to the Holland ISD Scholarship Fund.
