Judith Phillips Hill, 74, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2026. Judy was an outgoing, supportive, and free-spirited woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, educator, athlete, and artist. She was born on December 4, in Austin, Texas to Basil and Alyce Phillips, and spent her childhood in Georgetown and Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from Southwestern University and was a dedicated educator and coach for 50 years. Judy loved to paint, craft, play tennis, shop, and hunt for rocks and seashells at the beach. She loved spending time with her family and friends and had the unique ability to find something special in everyone she met. Judith was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gerald Hill; her children, Scott Hill (wife Roxie Hill) and Laura Blom (husband Aaron Blom); her 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her brothers, John Phillips (wife Carol Phillips), Mark Phillips (wife Angela Phillips); and sister Kathie Pate. Judy’s spirit, heart, and kindness, which she shared with all, will never be forgotten. Her Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held this Friday, June 12, 2026, at the First United Methodist Church at 410 University Avenue, Georgetown, Texas, at 11am, with a reception to follow at the church.
