Marisa “Risa” Senkewich passed away on January 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 11, 1954, Risa was a radiant light in the lives of everyone she met. Her warm smile, boundless energy, and vibrant spirit left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those lucky enough to know her.

A proud mother of five, Risa poured her heart into raising her children, celebrating their every accomplishment with unwavering pride and joy. She was the biggest cheerleader at their sporting events, always in the stands with a cup of coffee in hand and glitter in her heart. Risa had a gift for making everyone feel special, sprinkling a little sparkle wherever she went.

Her love of the beach, flip-flops and a good cup of coffee mirrored her sunny personality and zest for life. Whether she was cheering from the sidelines or sharing a moment of laughter, Risa’s presence made every occasion brighter. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in her family, who meant the world to her.

Risa is survived by her five children: Nick and his wife Dawn, Danielle and her husband Brian, Alan and his wife Tracee, Christie and her husband Stephen, and John and his wife Cristina. She also leaves behind her beloved fiancée, Dennis, who brought her unwavering happiness, support and love. She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren who were her greatest treasures and the source of her deepest pride.

While Risa’s sparkle will be greatly missed, her love and light will continue to shine in the lives of her family and all who knew her. As Risa would say, “Life is better with a little sparkle.”
