Mary Ann Castleberry (Hutte)
Mary Ann Castleberry (Hutte), known by many as Nanny, left this earth to join the lord on December 14, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born July 16, 1934, in Georgetown, Texas, to John Thomas and Myrtle Mae Hutte.
Her formative years were spent living in Central Texas. Mary Ann and Billy Joe Castleberry were married February 7, 1954. During this marriage, they had one son, William Thomas Castleberry.
The family spent several years traveling and living abroad during Billy’s military career. Following Billys’ retirement from the Air Force, they planted their roots back in Georgetown and Mary began working for the City of Austin. After many dedicated years of service she retired from employment with the city to enjoy time with her family and grandchildren.
Mary (Nanny) loved with her whole heart. She took great pride in her family and her home. She especially loved hosting the holidays.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Castleberry, sister, Norma Jean Millegan (Hutte), and brother, Billy Jack Hutte.
Mary is survived by her son, William Thomas (Katherine), granddaughters Rene Ward and Caitlin Poarch (Billy), great grandsons Ryker, Jaxon, and Barrett and sister Johnnie Headrick (Jack).
