Nancy was born on August 14, 1956, to Doyle “Pud” and Janie Lynn (Ryan) Moss. She graduated from Brownfield High School and began her career as a teller at local banks before pursuing her passion as a beautician. Throughout her life, Nancy was known for her artistic flair, from painting and drawing to writing poetry. She found joy in sewing, quilting, and crocheting, showcasing her creativity in various forms. Nancy also enjoyed soaking up the sun while boating with her family at Buchanan and LBJ lakes. Her caring nature shone through as she volunteered at the Rock House in Georgetown, a program dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities, and regularly visited elderly shut-ins.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Pud and Janie Moss; and her brother, Bobby Moss.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ryan McElroy and wife, Jennifer of McKinney; two granddaughters adored by their Nana, Clara and Sophie McElroy of McKinney; sister, Ann Marrow and husband, Delwin of Brownfield; sister-in-law, Jackie Moss of Brownfield; nephews, Brady Marrow, Donnie Marrow, Michael Moss, and Justin Moss; and niece, Amanda Stinson.
