Suzanne Marie Pilgrim, 88, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2023 after a brief illness.

Suzanne was born on November 23, 1934 to J. Franklin Mungoven and Anita Hugenard in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After graduating from Northside High School in 1952, Suzanne was a long time resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana  before moving to Texas.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, Suzanne worked for a private practice medical office in Fort Wayne, and later as a certified audiologist in the Austin, Texas, area where she moved with her spouse in 1980.

A long-time resident of nearby Sun City, Suzanne most recently resided at the Wesleyan Independent living facility on Williams Drive in Georgetown, Texas amongst a warm circle of friends and acquaintances. Her talented eye for collecting antiques and her refined decorating and fashion sense were well known. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Suzanne was predeceased by three husbands, the most recent being her beloved Stanley Pilgrim, who passed away in 2017.

Suzanne is survived by her daughter; Amy Wilkens Sabo and spouse Shawn, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, and her son; Andrew Wilkens and spouse Tammy of Jonesboro, Texas. Also surviving are grandchildren Katherine and husband Weldon Tuck, Marshall and wife Mylea Wilkens, Mason and his wife Raisa Wilkens, as well as three great grandchildren.

A private service with immediate family members will be held during the internment at the Fort Wayne, Indiana Catholic Cemetery.  A contribution to a charity of your choice would be the best means of commemorating Suzanne’s life and passing.
