Thomas Wayne Dooley

Thomas Wayne Dooley, 57, of Cedar Park, Texas, entered Heaven’s Gates on December 17, 2023, after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Thomas was born on March 16th, 1966 to Bill and Fannie Dooley in San Saba, Texas. Following his graduation from Round Rock High School in 1984, Thomas went on to play collegiate tennis and earned his Bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Texas in 1988.

Thomas began his career at ACME Brick, kick-starting a 33-year career in the field of sales and finance. In 1996, he welcomed his first son, Hunter, and two years later his second son, Heath, was born. His boys were his pride and joy. Throughout the years, he enjoyed helping train young tennis players, hunting, and playing golf with his family and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Fannie Dooley, grandparents Oscar and Velma Dooley and George and Lorene Barker, and nephew William Dooley. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law; Hunter Dooley and wife Christine, and his youngest son, Heath Dooley. He is also survived by his one brother Terry Dooley and wife Laura, niece Heather Dooley, Uncle Marshal & Aunt Sandy Dooley and several cousins.

Thomas’s memorial service will occur at the Garey House in Georgetown on Thursday, December 28, at 2 p.m. If you feel compelled, you may send flower arrangements to the memorial service, or in lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance in Thomas’s memory.
