Paul Ludowese, 84, of Georgetown passed away on June 5, 2025. Larry Ludowese was born March 2, 1941 in the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He drove a tank in the Army for 2 years and nearly got to see Cuba.Always loving sports, he played baseball and basketball as a young man.

Betty Louise Murphy, beloved mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at the age of 84.Born in Blanket, Texas, to Robert and Odell Kirksey, Betty grew up in Turkey Peak near Brownwood.

Kathryn Ann Cleckler Doggett Bywaters, age 92, passed on May 27, 2025, in Webster, Texas. She was born on October 1, 1932, Weslaco, Texas to Harvey C. Cleckler and Mary Elizabeth Morrow, who had moved from Arab, Alabama to the Valley around 1923. Her family farmed and raised cattle.
