Billy Grizzard Jr., 44, passed away in his home in Georgetown on February 26 after a two-year battle with cancer. He was born to Irma and Billy Grizzard in Brownsville, Texas, and raised mostly in Killeen, Texas, where he graduated from Killeen High School.

Bill Meehan

Bill Meehan, as he was known, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2025, surrounded by his family. He died from complications arising from his long-term battle with Alzheimer’s. Mr. Meehan was born in Waterbury, Connecticut and attended Fairfield University before joining the U.S.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. John’s Methodist Church, 311 East University Avenue, Georgetown for Marvin and Ann Lackey at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15. Interment of their ashes at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander will follow.
