Mary Annette Hawthorne, 82 of Jarrell passed away on July 15, 2023, surrounded by her family.  A Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 20, from 6-8 p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown.

John W. Lambert gained his wings on July 5, 2023, at the age of 95. John was born on December 23, 1927, in Austin, Texas, to the late Shela and John D. Lambert.  John married Bobbie Lou Hausenfluck on June 29, 1946, at the Georgetown Church of Christ.

Susan “Susy” Leslie Fowler Cogdill of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 81. She was born on November 23, 1941, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.  She attended Kansas State where she met the love of her life in 1960.

David Bert Cogdill of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 85. He was born on October 20, 1937, in Colby, Kansas, and grew up in Menlo, Kansas.  He graduated from Kansas State where he met the love of his life in 1960.

Kathleen Craig, 72, passed away on July 4, 2023, with her family lovingly by her side. Kathy Craig was born on August 10, 1950, in Borger, Texas, to Walt Templeton and Virginia Templeton.

David Elliott Hooper

David Elliott Hooper, 88, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. As in life, his beloved wife Martha was by his side as he passed. David was born on January 3, 1935, to Raymond and Doris Hooper in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

James Paul Comola, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend, died in Georgetown, Texas, on June 29, 2023, after a brief illness. He was a friend to all, intelligent and accomplished, with an infectious smile that blotted out the sins of the world.

David M. Price, who, as state librarian of West Virginia, led a highly successful initiative in the 1990s to provide free public computers and internet access in libraries, died June 26, 2023, in Georgetown, Texas. He was 80 years old.
