Joseph (Joe) Arthur Porch of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the age of 87. He was born on February 15, 1936, in Lucerne Mines, Pennsylvania. He was the ninth of 10 children from Paul and Mary Porch, both of whom emigrated from Hungary when they were children.

Jason Gait, former software engineer and college professor, died September 29, 2022, at his home in Georgetown. He was 83 years old.  Mr. Gait was born in Tampa, Florida, in 1939, and attended the University of Miami. He served in the U.S. Navy at the Hurricane Research Center, also in Miami.
