Randall (Randy) Glenn Clark, 70, of Lampasas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2023, in Austin, with his family by his side. Randy was born March 29, 1952, in Florence, to Lawrence (Lum) and ZuElla Caskey Clark. Randy loved music and learned how to play the guitar.

Linda Jean Smith (née Engstrom), 75, of Salado passed away on January 27, 2023. Also known as “Jeanny,” she was born to R.J. Schwarz and June Martin in Santa Monica, California. Her mother later remarried Harry C. Engstrom in Mercedes, Texas. She graduated from Garwood High School in 1965.

Eugene Heezen

Gene passed away at home January 20, 2023, in Leander. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, MaryAnn. Eugene was born at his childhood home in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Mable and Lambert Heezen. He spent his childhood in Green Bay where he raised homing pigeons and worked at the mink farm.

Margaret Elaine McHenney passed away on February 3, 2023, in Georgetown. She was 92 years old. “Peg” was born on August 27, 1930, in her parent’s home in Horton Township, Jackson, Michigan.

(1935-2023) Mary Joan (Parker) Ratliff of Bartlett, passed away on February 4, 2023. Joan grew up on a cattle ranch owned by her parents Kelly C. and Yula Parker in Lampasas, where she developed a love of horses. Joan graduated valedictorian of the Lampasas High School’s class of 1952.

Brayden Robert Bolyard, 17, of Georgetown, and a Senior at Jarrell High School passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Brayden was born in Brownwood, on February 26, 2005. He spent his life growing up in Jarrell.

Gloria Jane Corbett

Gloria Jane Corbett, 83, of Georgetown, Texas went into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on February 4, 2023. She was born on January 29, 1940, to Chester S. and Dorothy Kinsey in Austin, Texas, one of twelve siblings. Gloria graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio in 1958.

Penny Puryear Burt, born in Amarillo, December 8, 1946, passed away in her sleep in Austin, on February 3, 2023. She graduated from Kelton School in the Texas Panhandle, and from St. Anthony’s School of Nursing in Amarillo, as well as advanced work at the University of Texas in Austin.
