Art Scapes: Mainly Art features outdoor art market in Round Rock

Round Rock’s outdoor art market, Mainly Art, is free and draws friendly crowds to the historic Main Street, specifically Prete Plaza and the downtown Paseo. Visitors can stroll through downtown and browse artwork offered by 15 different local visual artists from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Time to apply for Georgetown Arts & Culture grants

The Georgetown Arts & Culture Board invites grant proposals for events and programs occurring between October 1 and March 31, 2027, as part of the 2026 Round II grant period. The submission deadline is June 30.

Art scapes: Prose ladies deliver wildflower impressions to the art center

“Impressions of Wildflowers” celebrates a family connection through printmaking, fiber and word created by Catherine and Maryruth Prose and the late Vera Prose. This multigenerational collaboration uses their mutual love and relationships with nature.

The Sun City Visual Arts Club selected Jan Sherer as the featured artist for the months for May and June. Her artwork is hanging in the Sun City Social Center at 2 Texas Drive, Building A, in Georgetown.Ms. Sherer has been a high school level art teacher for over 25 years.

The 2026 Spring season of Mainly Art begins on March 28 in downtown Round Rock from 10 a.m., until 3 p.m. This monthly event continues as a vibrant, free, outdoor art market held along historic Main Street from March to June in Prete Plaza and the downtown Paseo.
