Art Scapes: 2027 Art Center Exhibit proposals deadline

The Georgetown Art Center is looking for exhibits to be displayed in 2027. The deadline for proposal is February 28, 2026.Each year at this time, the Art Center collects proposals and selects a panel to review proposals and recommend finalists for the 2027 showcases.

Art scapes: New arts center opens in downtown Round Rock

The City Arts Center in downtown Round Rock opened its doors in the Griffith Building offering ample space for art plus two-story-high cathedral ceilings and views of the paseo. This revitalized building was once a fire house, an auto shop, City Hall and the library.

The 17th Annual Sun City Photo competition garnered 122 submissions in a variety of subject categories. These contest photos are on display until December 27 in the Activity Center, 1 Texas Drive.
