City of Georgetown closures for holiday season

The City of Georgetown is closing certain offices for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
The facilities and offices that will be closed December 25-26 and January 1 include:

Georgetown City Council place $130 million bond package on November ballot

Georgetown City Council has finalized its November bond package, and during a special meeting Tuesday, August 15, officially placed $130 million worth of projects on the November 7 ballot.

Georgetown working to secure long-term groundwater supply

Georgetown water utility customers will receive outage texts beginning in August

Starting on August 1, residents who use Georgetown water utilities will begin to receive text message alerts about possible water outages.
Customers will receive texts from 512-930-3640 with real-time water outage updates.

Candidates set for Georgetown, GISD elections in May

Georgetown residents will vote in a mayoral election this May.
Two candidates, incumbent Josh Schroeder and resident Jonathan Dade, will appear on the ballot.
The city announced the news following the deadline to file, which was at 5 p.m. Friday, February 17.
