Cedar Park man sentenced 30 years for cocaine possession

A Williamson County jury found Haybert Ronald Lee, 45, of Cedar Park, guilty of Possession of a Controlled Substance on Tuesday, September 22.  Following the guilty verdict, the jury assessed Mr. Lee’s punishment at 30 years in prison.
Timothy Visa Xayyaraj was arrested on August 29 for “attempting to take a weapon from an officer," but was later released. Shortly after, police were called to The Square about a disturbance. Xayyaraj confronted police, who fatally shot him after he attempted to grab an officer’s gun out of its holster, according to Georgetown Police.

Leander man gets 100 years after pleading guilty to child sexual assaults

Adrian Michael Williams, 56, of Leander, was sentenced to 100 years in prison across four separate cases involving the sexual assault and aggravated sexual assault of two children.“What these survivors endured was truly horrific,” said Shawn Dick, Williamson County District Attorney.
