Ascension Seton set for $230 million Round Rock expansion

To address the needs of Williamson County’s growing population, Ascension Seton Williamson announced on Tuesday, October 17, it will spend $230 million to expand its presence in Round Rock.

Hutto adds Jack Allen’s to Co-Op District

Hutto residents are set to get a Jack Allen’s Kitchen at The Co-Op District on State Highway 79, according to a press release from Co-Op developers MA Partners. The 7,500-square-foot restaurant is the first to be built from the ground up. The restaurant is planned to open summer of 2024.

Semiconductor producer Schunk Xycarb Technology expands to keep up with demand

As Williamson County continues to grow its reputation as a home for tech companies, quartz semiconductor maker Schunk Xycarb Technology is expanding into a new 140,000 square foot facility to accommodate growing demand for its products.

Hutto home to future Chuy’s restaurant

Popular Tex-Mex chain Chuy’s is coming to Hutto. According to a post on the city’s Facebook page, the restaurant will be off US 79 and Alliance Boulevard as part of the Townwest Commons Phase II development. The restaurant is set to be over 5,000 square feet with additional patio seating.

New apartments coming to Hutto

LS Black Development is set to open 252 apartments in Hutto in late 2024. The Preserve at Mustang Creek will have one to four-bedroom layouts across eight three-story, garden-style buildings.

Industrial development takes shape in Cedar Park

Three Austin-based real estate firms broke ground last week on a 95-acre project in Cedar Park.    New Hope Corporate Park is a 430,000-square-foot multi-phased, mixed-use project valued at $250 million and is located at the northeast quadrant of U.S. Highway 183-A and New Hope Drive.

Jarrell ISD trustees are mulling over design features for the district’s voter-approved middle school and will approve architectural concepts at their June 21 meeting, Communications Director Nick Spinetto said.
