GISD releases final academic report for 2021-22

Georgetown ISD released its 2021-22 Texas Academic Performance Report — or TAPR as it’s called by the Texas Education Agency. TEA requires school districts to hold an annual public hearing about the report’s contents.

Jarrell ISD trustees unanimously agreed Wednesday, February 8, to hold a school bond election on May 6. The bond totals $324.6 million and includes the construction of two elementary schools and a middle school. Trustees approved the bond package at a special school board meeting.
