Remembrance event to feature Holocaust survivor’s son

Congregation Havurah Shalom and the Georgetown Public Library will host a Holocaust Remembrance Day event from 2-4 p.m. on April 23.  The library will welcome Arnold Fingerhut for a presentation titled “A Life in Hiding to Living the American Dream.”

Sun City Garage Sale in April benefits students

The Kiwanis Club of Sun City Georgetown is hosting a garage sale to benefit their programs for high school students April 1.  The event takes place from 8 a.m. to noon in the Sun City Social Center parking lot, 2 Texas Drive. Admission and parking are free.
