Weekend showers dropped 1-5 inches, no damage reported

After a couple of months with little to no rain, Central Texas experienced a gloomy, wet weekend.Williamson County received widespread rainfall late last week and into the weekend, with the heaviest accumulations west and northwest of Georgetown.

Update:As of 2:15 p.m. on April 22, ATXFloods, an online database that reports water levels at low water crossings in Central Texas, reported that County Road 100 in Georgetown is still closed due to flood waters. ***Wilco’s Office of Emergency Management has not reported an update as of writing.

Flood update: County tackles debris slowly, assistance still available

It’s been three months since the region was hit by deadly flooding in July. Although Wilco Emergency Management and partners have been removing debris from the North and South forks of the San Gabriel River, the county is still only about 10 percent done with clean-up.
