Young Georgetown community leaders recognized for work

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club announced this year’s 5 Under 40 award winners for business and community leaders during a joint luncheon May 9. This is the second year for the program.

Georgetown Chamber of Commerce awards recognize businesses, volunteers

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce celebrated its members on Friday, January 30, with seven awards honoring businesses large and small, and people who have made a positive impact in the community over the past year.

Future Georgetown districts include retail, housing, entertainment

In the second annual conversation with Georgetown Mayor Josh Schroeder, real estate company Corridor Title asked him about economic development, development downtown, road improvements, water and wastewater in the city’s future.

County provides update on new jail, road projects

Precinct 3 Commissioner Valerie Covey introduced new County Judge Steven Snell during the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Links on April 24. Ms. Covey also outlined ongoing initiatives by her office. Judge Snell was sworn in as the new county judge on April 21.

Chamber luncheon covers statewide economic development

Texas is the eighth largest economy in the world based on its gross domestic product, and Georgetown Chamber of Commerce members learned August 22 about economic activities across the state.
