Palace moves out of the Playhouse, new tenants to be found

The Georgetown Palace Theatre will conclude its programming at the Playhouse at the end of the year, closing out with Dashing Through the Snow, which runs November 28 through December 28.

Sun City residents express concerns over deer population maintenance

Outside of the Sun City Social Center ahead of the community’s November 6 board meeting, two signs were placed outside by residents, protesting against the community’s efforts to trap deer and control the animal’s population.

One year in, new ESD 8 tax creates security net for Georgetown emergency services

TML chooses Georgetown for new headquarters

The Texas Municipal League’s Intergovernmental Risk Pool has chosen the old Wesleyan building at 205 East University Avenue as the location for its new headquarters and the Texas Municipal Center. The TML Risk Pool is currently located at 1821 Rutherford Lane in Austin.
