Al Blaschke prepares to blow out candles on his German Chocolate birthday cake as he celebrates his 108th birthday with a party at The Wesleyan Assisted Living on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Born on this date in 1917, Blaschke has done three skydives in recent years, the first in 2017, followed by another with his twin grandsons in 2020 and another with Governor Greg Abbott in 2023.
