English Pub The Grumpy George opening on the Square this summer

European immigrants Karen and Jack Soeffker are creating an authentic English pub off the Square called Grumpy George. The restaurant could open in early August.   Ms. Soeffker — the owner of All Things Kids on the Square — is originally from England.

Ubiquity expands fiber to Liberty Hill

Ubiquity, the infrastructure investment firm which broke ground in Georgetown last May in an effort to help provide the city with an open-access fiber system that will help residents receive better internet service, is expanding into other cities and areas in Williamson County.

The Georgetown Project finds teens summer internships through youth employment program

Twenty-one Georgetown high school students are participating in summer internships this year through The Georgetown Project’s Summer Youth Employment Program, the most students placed in the program’s history.

All Care Therapies relocates to expanded Georgetown facility

All Care Therapies Georgetown, formerly located on Texas 195, has built a new 8,500 square-foot therapy facility at 3610 Williams Drive.  All Care opened in 2014, started by speech therapist Julie Creswell, occupational therapist Jenna Coe and physical therapist Tiffany Gmiter.

Senior University approaches 25 years

Senior University is looking ahead at celebrating its 25th anniversary on September 19. A nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization based in Georgetown, Senior University provides opportunities for adults to broaden their horizons and learn from local experts on various subjects.
