In the near future, 10 Flock License Plate Reader cameras will find homes throughout Georgetown to help the Georgetown Police Department solve crimes like stolen vehicles, robbery and even murder.

Georgetown City Council Member Jake French may not have always lived in Georgetown, but since moving here in 2001, he’s identified the city as his hometown. Now, while raising his four young children with his wife, Allison, he’s serving to make sure Georgetown’s future is bright for them.

Georgetown’s Downtown Master Plan, incoming regulations for short-term rentals and city developments were discussed during a District 6 town hall meeting December 5.
Hosted at the Council and Court building by District 6 Council Member Jake French, the event drew a crowd of roughly 51 people.
