Jarrell City Council member charged with drug possession

Jeffery “Jeff” Siedel, a minister and former Jarrell City Council member, was arrested for drug possession on July 26. According to the official affidavit, a Williamson County Sheriff’s K-9 Deputy was on patrol driving northbound on Interstate Highway 35, near Old Setter’s Boulevard and U.S.

Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees unanimously named Leslie Vazquez as the new principal of Igo Elementary School. The board made its decision at a special meeting on July 13.Ms. Vazquez joins Jarrell ISD from Del Valle ISD, where she served in several leadership roles, including principal.

Jarrell ISD is expanding opportunities to meet high school students’ needs by launching a new Hybrid Learning Pilot program for the 2026-27 school year. The Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees approved the pilot during its May 20 meeting.

Round Rock water parkThe City of Round Rock celebrated the completion of the Rock’N River Phase 3 Expansion Project on May 22 at 3300 East Palm Valley Boulevard. The project includes a 775-foot action river with two wave features: a typhoon wave generator and a barrel roll wave generator.

Jarrell places bid for Georgetown CCN
