Texas weather once again showed it follows no master, as Two Step Inn concertgoers were subject to muddy, marshy grass on Saturday, and biting winds on a cloudy, damp Sunday.

The third annual Two Step Inn country music festival takes place this weekend – April 5 and 6 – at San Gabriel Park. Miranda Lambert and Alan Jackson will headline the festival Saturday, April 5.

Street closures set for Two Step Inn

Various street and San Gabriel Park closures will be in effect from March 25 through April 11 to accommodate the Two Step Inn music festival, which takes place April 5 and 6.

The third annual Two Step Inn is taking place in less than a month – April 5 and 6 – at San Gabriel Park. The Georgetown Parks Department for years had planned for a festival space to provide entertainment to residents in its Parks Master Plan.

Texas country singer-songwriter Cory Morrow will headline Georgetown’s 26th annual Red Poppy Festival on Saturday, April 26. The country artist is known for songs like “The Man I’ve Been,” “Texas on My Mind” and “Always and Forever.”Mr. Morrow’s performance is from 8:30-10 p.m.
