Lee and Jetina Bingham are lifelong Texans. Lee hails from El Paso and Jetina from Midland. The couple married in 1984 and moved to Central Texas in 1993. Lee and Jetina now have the distinction of living in one of the first houses constructed in Williamson County.

Georgetown author retells her own true crime story

Are you an armchair detective? If so, you’re not alone. It’s a good time for true crime as interest in this genre continues to grow. A YouGov poll found more than half of Americans consume true crime content in podcasts, television shows and youtube. Books and movies are also in on the trend.

Restoring Williamson County's lost cemeteries

October 31 is the first of three days dedicated by various cultures to remembering the dead. In some Christian churches, Halloween is followed by All Saints’ Day and then by All Souls’ Day. In Mexico, this time is called Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead.

Pokémon Go offers fun reason to get outside, explore nature

Get going again with Pokémon Go! Recently, I walked around the Georgetown courthouse with two of my grandkids. They were intent on catching Pokémon and I was along for the ride.  Remember the hoopla when the game was released in 2016?
