Question: How much does the mural on the new downtown parking garage cost? What about the new, nearby longhorn sculpture? Answer: According to Georgetown Communication Manager Keith Hutchinson, the new mural being painted on the northside exterior of the garage will cost $45,000.

Georgetown Public Library announced summer sculpture show winners

Winners of the Texas Society of Sculptors summer show were honored and announced Sunday, July 16, at the Georgetown Public Library. The exhibit officially opened last month on June 18.
The first place award went to “Final Fetch” by J.P. (Pat) Childress.
