Round Rock approves construction projects

Round Rock City Council Members approved multiple construction projects related to parks during its July 27 meeting. Lake Creek Trail construction will begin later this year.

Round Rock celebrates University Boulevard completion

Williamson County Commissioners Terry Cook and Russ Boles along with the City of Round Rock hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of two long-awaited projects on University Boulevard, July 20. The two-year-long project connected Interstate 35 to State Highway 130.

West Nile mosquito found in Round Rock

A mosquito trap sample collected from Brushy Creek has tested positive for West Nile virus. The positive sample was collected from a trap site near the Beck Preserve on Great Oaks Dr. on July 7.

Work on Sam Bass Road begins in Round Rock

Williamson County will hold a public ground breaking on Sam Bass Road for the Corridor H project at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19. The project will widen the roadway from Ranch to Market Road 1431 to Wyoming Springs Drive in anticipation of future traffic needs.

Round Rock Public Library moving into new location

The Round Rock Public Library is set to open the doors to its new facility this month. A grand opening for the facility, located at 200 East Liberty Avenue, is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, January 28.
