WHO: Women Helping Others recaps busy 2024

As we embark on a new year, the Women Helping Others ladies kicked off their first meeting in January 2025 by celebrating the club’s accomplishments for the previous year.

WHO packs cookies for Holiday Meals Delivered

Since 2008, Women Helping Others volunteers in Sun City have baked, prepared and packed cookies ahead of Christmas to distribute as part of nonprofit Holiday Meals Delivered's meals to Georgetown families. This year, WHO volunteers met Monday, December 23, to pack 500 dozen home made cookies.

Celebrate veterans with Field of Honor, Sun City events

The Rotary Club of Georgetown Foundation will be hosting the eighth annual Field of Honor at San Gabriel Park from November 9-17 in honor of Veteran’s Day on November 11. There will be more than 2,000 flags set up across 10-acres at the park in honor of veterans.
