Georgetown will increase water rates next month

Georgetown water rates will increase 13 percent starting in October, as set by the City Council during Tuesday’s meeting. The statutory consent agenda shows the rate raise was budgeted in the 2024 Fiscal Year Annual Budget.

Florence City Council discusses water restrictions, drought plans

The City of Florence revised the drought contingency plan during the city council meeting August 1.  The council unanimously approved the changes to the city’s drought contingency plan ordinance.

West Georgetown restricted from watering through September 4
