Liberty Hill Man arrested on murder charges

Ryan Adam Madden, 38, was taken into custody for the alleged homicide of 42-year-old Cody Wayne Kinslow of Temple on September 29, according to the Bell County Sheriff’s Office.  Referred to as the “Little Flock Homicide” by authorities, Bell County authorities said Mr.

Two weeks ago, a group of families took their seats in the pews of Williamson County’s commissioners courtroom in downtown Georgetown.

Williamson County Commissioners Court reviews salary study, adds policies

Williamson County Commissioners Court approved new county salaries for elected officials and new county employee policies during their July 18 meeting. Changes will be put into effect October 1, the start of the next fiscal year.

Williamson County Commissioners Court considers grant-funded positions

Williamson County Commissioners discussed three different grant-funded county staff positions June 27. Commissioners had a July 1 budget deadline to decide to keep the positions as grant funded, to add them to the county budget or remove the positions.

Sheriff-backed fentanyl education bill passes House

In recognition of National Fentanyl Awareness Day, House Bill 3908 — commonly known as “Tucker’s Law” — passed through the Texas House May 9.

Wilco sheriff investigating death of 16-year-old boy

The Williamson County Sheriff ’s Office is investigating the “unattended” death of a 16-year old Georgetown male that occurred over the past weekend, Gracie Perez, department public information officer, said Tuesday, January 24.  The boy’s name and circumstances of his death have not been released.
