Traffic study could lead to toll lanes along Ronald Reagan Boulevard

Williamson County Commissioners approved a resolution Tuesday, April 15, to have the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority conduct a traffic study along the Ronald Reagan Boulevard corridor.

Williamson County completes framework for new headquarters

Williamson County officials commemorated the structural completion of the new county administration building Friday afternoon with a topping off ceremony.“The topping out ceremony celebrates a monumental moment in the construction of any building,”  Commissioner Valerie Covey said.

JPs selected as leaders in regional justice association

Justice of the Peace Judges Angela Williams and Evelyn McLean were elected into leadership positions for the Central Texas Justices of the Peace & Constables Association. Judge McLean will serve as the 2025 president and Judge Williams as the 2025 judge advocate for the Association.

Williamson County commissioners recognized April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month during its April 1 meeting. “I know that at times it can feel like a proclamation is just words,” said Ryan Bownds, chief prosecutor of the special victims unit for the District Attorney's office.
