Williamson County offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in honor of Juneteenth. All county operations will resume regular hours on Thursday, June 20.  While county offices are closed, residents may use online services that are offered in various departments.

Williamson County began hosting its public meeting series about the initial Altas 14 Flood Study results on May 29.   The preliminary data shows that extreme flooding event precipitation levels have increased by two inches in a 100-year flood.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a nuisance abatement lawsuit asking the Williamson County Courts to stop Sun Spa — located in the county on Pond Springs Road in North Austin — from operating an alleged illicit massage business.

Williamson County Court program receives grant over $25,000

The Williamson County Court at Law No. 2 DWI/Drug Court Program received a $27,215 grant from the Texas Bar Foundation. The money will provide inhouse, evidence-based Moral Reconation Therapy Groups, alcohol/drug use monitoring and individual and family mental health treatment.
