Corrections director gets promoted to Texas council

Jameson Pennington, Williamson County Community Supervision and Corrections Department for Adult Probation director, was elected to serve on the Probation Advisory Council of Texas.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will offer its annual Home for the Holidays fostering program this year.
As a part of the Home for the Holidays foster program, residents can pick out any medium or large dog as a foster pet through the holiday season.

Williamson County exits agreement with United Way

Final voting totals for Williamson County's two bond propositions show that Proposition A received support from 62.23 percent of county voters, and Proposition B received 59.89 percent support. Both propositions have been approved.
