Cop calls: Woman pulls out of potential scam

Jarrell City Council member charged with drug possession

Jeffery “Jeff” Siedel, a minister and former Jarrell City Council member, was arrested for drug possession on July 26. According to the official affidavit, a Williamson County Sheriff’s K-9 Deputy was on patrol driving northbound on Interstate Highway 35, near Old Setter’s Boulevard and U.S.

Leander man gets 100 years after pleading guilty to child sexual assaults

Adrian Michael Williams, 56, of Leander, was sentenced to 100 years in prison across four separate cases involving the sexual assault and aggravated sexual assault of two children.“What these survivors endured was truly horrific,” said Shawn Dick, Williamson County District Attorney.

Round Rock man gets 10 years for elder abuse

A Williamson County jury sentenced 35-year-old Nicholas Stasney of Round Rock to 10 years in prison for the assault of his 70-year-old mother in their shared home on Friday, June 12.

Second fentanyl murder trial leads to 40 years in prison

A Williamson County jury on June 11 sentenced Caleb Comer, 27, of Liberty Hill, to 40 years in prison for murder in the fentanyl-related death of 18-year-old Matthew Wright of Cedar Park. The sentencing follows the jury’s guilty verdict in the case.

Georgetown man gets life for sexual abuse of child

On April 20, a Williamson County jury convicted Jason Allen Crouch, 45, of Georgetown, of continuous sexual abuse of a child. He has been sentenced to life in prison. A former professional BMX rider, Mr. Crouch was also a track operator at the Central Texas BMX track in Pflugerville.
