Georgetown outlines plans, construction schedule for new Customer Service Center

Southwestern University is set to start infrastructure construction in September to accommodate development of the 560 acres just east of its campus on University Avenue. As a whole, the SU 560 Project will include a mix of businesses, residential, retail and hospitality space.

UT, Georgetown partner for IT asset storage

Georgetown is moving forward with plans to build a new Customer Service Center that will house 12 city departments, while also upgrading how the city stores and protects its information technology systems.

First phase of SU 560 plan gets commercial zoning approval

Southwestern University will have to conduct a traffic mobility study exploring possible traffic impacts caused by its proposed SU 560 redevelopment plan. Georgetown City Council approved a rezoning request by the university on Tuesday, October 14.

Southwestern plan moves forward

New development is indeed coming to the vacant land east of Southwestern University. Georgetown’s Planning & Zoning Commission on Tuesday, September 16, unanimously approved an amendment to the university’s Planned Unit Development, which will allow commercial development on 68.

First phase of SU 560 plan heads to P&Z
