Most of my daily walks in Taylor lead through Bull Branch Park, a scenic place adorned with cypress trees, ducks, geese, turtles, egrets, herons and squirrels. A stream, Bull Branch Creek, courses through the park, forming a pond before meandering south, toward Murphy Park.

Sun City celebrates 30 years in Georgetown

On January first, 1960, Del Webb opened its first active adult community in Arizona. In January 2026, Sun City Texas kicked off a year-long celebration of 30 years as a Del Webb community.Over 18,000 residents in 87 neighborhoods enjoy their retirement years in a resort-style setting.

Art scapes: New arts center opens in downtown Round Rock

The City Arts Center in downtown Round Rock opened its doors in the Griffith Building offering ample space for art plus two-story-high cathedral ceilings and views of the paseo. This revitalized building was once a fire house, an auto shop, City Hall and the library.
