Art Scapes: Three new exhibits coming to Georgetown Public Library

Local photographer and world traveler Marsha Larrabee presents her first solo exhibit at the Georgetown Public Library. The theme “Our Unique and Wonderful World" is a collection of her photos from around the world on display in the Cafe Gallery.

RED POPPY FESTIVALApril 25-27Georgetown is the Red Poppy Capital of Texas, with the European flower blooming throughout much of Old Town in the spring.

Schedule: 2025 Red Poppy Festival weekend

 Head down to the Square to kick off Georgetown’s 26th-annual Red Poppy Festival Friday evening with a live performance by Dysfunkshun Junkshun at 7 p.m.The three-day festival runs through Sunday afternoon and offers live music, food, vendors, family-friendly activities and parades.

Street closures set for Two Step Inn

Various street and San Gabriel Park closures will be in effect from March 25 through April 11 to accommodate the Two Step Inn music festival, which takes place April 5 and 6.

Bridge architect talks new book, impact of bridges
