Rec Center pool hosts annual K-9 Kerplunk

The end of summer is approaching, which means Georgetown Parks and Recreations K-9 Kerplunk party is on the horizon. Located at the Georgetown Recreation Center’s outdoor pool on September 7, owners can sign their pups up for one hour time slots to splash around the pool. Cattleman’s Ball honors area rodeo performer

The Williamson Museum’s Cattleman’s Ball is heading to Round Rock this fall, and legendary cowboy Bill Pickett will be honored at the event for his impact on Texas and American history. The Cattleman’s Ball event will be held on October 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Kalahari Resort.

Rubber duck race raises money for GISD seniors

Georgetown’s branch of the American Association of University Women will host their ninth annual duck race on October 19. Participants can win up to $500. The race will begin at 11 a.m. at the San Gabriel River in San Gabriel Park.
