Shop for holiday gifts, check out car show at WHO fundraiser

Women Helping Others will host a free car show fundraiser in October for Hounds for Heroes to help train dogs for first responders and veterans. WHO plans to have 200 vehicles from all classes and a Holiday Bazaar. The show will take place on October 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cattleman’s Ball honors area rodeo performer

The Williamson Museum’s Cattleman’s Ball is heading to Round Rock this fall, and legendary cowboy Bill Pickett will be honored at the event for his impact on Texas and American history. The Cattleman’s Ball event will be held on October 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Kalahari Resort.

Rubber duck race raises money for GISD seniors
