Escape the heat with annual Blazin’ Beer Crawl

Tickets for the 2024 Blazin’ Beer Crawl on the Square are now on sale, with both VIP and General Admission options. Both ticket options are for those 21 and up, identification will be checked at pickup. The event, which takes place on Saturday, August 3, from 3-6 p.m.

Taste of the town: Matzo for Passover

Mazel tov! Passover 2024 began at sundown on April 22 and ends after nightfall on April 30. The weeklong spring festival of Passover commemorates suffering and celebrates liberation.

ArtScapes: Art Guild hosts first student art show

“Art Must Survive” is the theme of the first student art show hosted by The Williamson County Art Guild. The public is invited to the opening reception for these young and talented artists at the WCAG Gallery on Friday May 3 from 5-7 p.m., 708 Rock Street.

2024 Texas Bach Festival moving to First United Methodist Church

The Texas Bach Festival — on its way to becoming a Georgetown musical institution — will settle into a new home in its 2024 season, First United Methodist Church. This year is also FUMC’s 175th anniversary in Georgetown.

Georgetown Parkinson's Awareness Month meeting is April 25

April is Parkinson's Awareness Month. At the April 25 meeting, the Georgetown Area Parkinson’s Support group will share information about the disease and provide results from new research. Alejandra Lopez Nweke is a representative from the Michael J Fox Foundation and the featured speaker.

Prepare for Two Step Inn this weekend

The second annual Two Step Inn country music festival takes place this weekend, April 20-21, in San Gabriel Park. Music at this year’s festival will begin both days at noon and will last until about 10 p.m.
