Family Barn, an indoor play area with a coffee shop, offers local families a break from the summer heat. Designed for children ages six months to 6 years, the play space provides a safe, engaging environment for children to explore while parents relax.

The Vera Gallery is a high-end art showroom and gallery that opened on the Square earlier this year.The business sells paintings and scarves by American artist and entrepreneur Vera Neumann, as well as work by local female artists.

Happy flowers. Officially, they’re wild sunflowers, but just seeing them adorning the landscape brings joy. While the large ones that people take time to plant are nice, their smaller cousins are growing in abundance as summer nears.

Williamson County sees 8.47% increase in market value

Williamson County’s total market value increased by about 8.47 percent in 2025, according to the June 3 presentation from the Appraisal District. The county’s total market value at $184.69 billion for 2025, up from $170.27 billion in 2024, according to the preliminary data.
