Williamson County sees 8.47% increase in market value

Williamson County’s total market value increased by about 8.47 percent in 2025, according to the June 3 presentation from the Appraisal District. The county’s total market value at $184.69 billion for 2025, up from $170.27 billion in 2024, according to the preliminary data.

Unemployment rate falls in Williamson County

The Texas Workforce Commission released updated unemployment numbers for Central Texas counties for April 2025. In April, unemployment in Williamson County fell from 3.5 percent in March to 3.2 percent.
